Diversity
We strive towards the realization of a prevailing security and stability for all members of society marked by prevailing diversity that is live, celebrated and treasured by all. To that end, we will actively disseminate critically relevant tools and information necessary to create a society, workplace and institutional culture that fosters and honors genuine diversity.
"Internationalism," a term increasingly popular today in Japan, is only possible when diversity is honored in practice - that is, to respect each other's differences in cultures and values and thoughtfully wherever they may arise.
Human resources development in the corporate sector is aimed at strengthening precisely one's "ability and capacity to live with those with differences" - one of the core elements of a sustainable institution.
Education is to nurture one's ability to 'discover' the myriad talents and gifts possessed by each and every individual, supported by the very purpose of 'personnel,' in which management strives to wield all resources and tools at its discretion towards that specific end.
To date, we human beings have unsuccessfully attempted to halt the destructive path of a narrow-minded political leadership set on the expansion of the market, wreaking havoc through repeated 'wars' and 'genocide' as well as other unspeakable atrocities in the process. It is with the prevailing reign of a certain supremacist ideology that underlines the perpetual tendency to deem 'the other' as inferior, and therefore, quite naturally, legitimately less influential in decision-making that determines history's outcomes.
Reflecting on this past century of wars, I have no doubt that we today recognize more clearly than ever before, that a genuine social 'safety net' is made only possible when equity among all peoples is realized, forming the solid basis from which all social progress must begin.
The tremendous wealth which surrounds us today is a product of an accumulation of unheard, and untold, sufferings of peoples from around the world.
Therefore, with the tools for 'training' and 'professional development,' we set out to honor the very history of those faceless and nameless predecessors of our time who could only touch the wealth in their dreams - so that our future generations can dream their dreams in a genuinely wealthy world - one of shared abundance and prevailing peace.
